The objectives of this project are as follows:
ï‚· To train students to be observant to their surrounding
ï‚· To instil the culture of documenting as part of the learning process in architectural education
 To enhance the students’ graphic communication skills in capturing important details and the spirit of the place
Learning Outcomes of this Project
ï‚· Identify architectural historic structure
ï‚· Capture the tangible and intangible essence that is contained within the architecture realm
I used mainly stippling technique to complete my sketches.
The old royal palace emits a very majestic and mysterious ambience hence thru stippling, this can be portrayed well.
These skecthes are my interpretation of the building. The key highlight of this palace is not only the royalness, but the detailed ornamentations found at each corner.
Plus, the ancient age of this building ( built back in 1920s ) evokes the curiosity within us in wanting to explore this piece of fine architecture further.
