building CONSTRUCTION. 

Project 1 

 

The objectives of this project are as follows: 

 

 To introduce basic principles and procedures of construction process through real life project 

(experiential learning) 

 To understand the sequence and coordination of construction at site 

 To expose students to construction technology/methods responding to site context 

 To allow student to demonstrate their understanding and knowledge of construction, material and 

technology 

 To train students to produce manual sketches, drawings and detailing relating to EXISTING 

construction 

 

Learning Outcomes of this Project 

 

 Produce a complete documentation (pictures, sketches and drawing) and analysis of construction 

elements 

 Understand and explain construction elements and its components. 

 Understand current construction technology on local construction sites 

 Explain current material and technology in relevance to present construction industry 

 

 

In a group of 9, we visited 2 different construction sites. 

The sites are : 1) Puncak alam & 2) Sh'ng Villa, Ampang. This is my first experience for site visiting and I was amazed at how massive the project scale is.
