project 1
Our project study is based on crown hall.
Crown hall is designed by Mies Van Der Rohe, one of the great architects of modernism.
This building is built and designed as part of an architecture campus for institute of technology in chicago.
This building adopted steel sketal frame and glass facade which provides ample natural lighting into the interior.
Our design is derived from a musical box. We extracted the rotating mechanism and vibration produced by metal echoes.

project 2
In a group of 2, we were assigned to design a pavilion for a blind musician.
This pavilion is designed for the blind musician to get his inspiration.
The site is situated in Kuala Selangor and the specific site location is the forest.
The forest is very humid but shady. Trees there have big crowns.
The concept of this pavilion is based on a musical box.
As the blind musician rotates the center pole, it hits on the metal bars surrounding which are the nodes.
The copper wall reflect the sound and directs the birds chirping to him. Also, copper has very graceful againg which blends with the nature well.
project 3
In this project, we designed a retreat house for the blind musician.
This retreaat house is inspired by a treble clef.
When we speak of music, we can relate it to something elegant and graceful. The smooth curves fromed by the treble clef can clearly reflect this idea.
The pockects of spaces formed by the treble clef are derived into spaces for the interior.
The main component of the house is the piano studio, where he spends most time to compose his music.
The floor has different textures for him to enriched his touching sensation.
